National Health Day: What does this have to do with us?

Every year,more than 240,000 people are hospitalized in Brazildue to health problems related to the consumption of poor-quality water. Diseases such ascholera, for example, still affect the population. Our mission here at Hidrofiltros is to produce products that eliminate this risk.

And how do we do that?

In addition to having a team of engineers developing our products according to the most rigorous standards, we have also taken on the mission of aligning ourselves with 2 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

SDG 3, for example, addresses Good Health and Well-Being, and aims to ensure access to quality healthcare and promote well-being for all, at all ages. SDG 6, titled Clean Water and Sanitation, seeks to ensure the availability and sustainable management of drinking water and sanitation for everyone, reducing the number of waterborne diseases.

Together, these two SDGs guide our actions, prompting us to reflect on how we can contribute, as a company, to a more sustainable and balanced world for everyone.
