About this product
The CB 160 Refill is the activated carbon filter element in compacted form (Carbon Block technology) designed for threaded housings from the EF Filtros line.
The refill is formed by compacting carbon, meaning the entire body is made of carbon. Two polypropylene layers, external and internal, provide particle retention of dirt and prevent the passage of carbon dust. The large amount of activated carbon allows a single product to have the necessary efficiency for filtration.

In the box
- 1 CB 160 Refill
- 1st Close the main water shut-off valve and leave the tap open until all water drains from the filter.
- 2nd Unscrew the filter bowl.
- 3rd Using a wrench, unscrew the saturated refill. Wash the cap, o-ring and filter bowl.
- 4th Check the condition of the o-ring; if torn or dried out, replace it.
- 5th Position the o-ring on the bowl threads.
- 6th Screw the refill onto the cap and then screw the bowl back onto the cap.
- 7th Open the shut-off valve and run approximately 15 liters of water to remove carbon dust.
