About this product
The CB 230 Refill is the activated carbon block filter element (Carbon Block technology) designed for threaded housings, replacing the old HPC 230.
The refill is formed by compacting carbon, meaning the entire body is made of carbon. Two polypropylene layers, external and internal, retain dirt particles and prevent carbon dust from passing through. The large amount of activated carbon allows a single product to have the necessary efficiency for filtration.

In the box
- 1 CB 230 Refill
- Close the main water shut-off valve and leave the tap open until all water drains from the filter.
- Unscrew the filter bowl.
- Wearing gloves, unscrew the saturated refill. Wash the cap, o-ring and filter bowl.
- Check the condition of the o-ring; if cracked or dried out, replace it.
- Position the o-ring on the bowl thread.
- Screw the refill onto the cap and then screw the bowl back onto the cap.
- Open the shut-off valve and let approximately 15 liters of water run through to eliminate carbon dust.
