About this product
The 10" Pleated Refill is the filter element compatible with the BIG 10" Filter and other 10" housings, indicated as a pre-filter for installations with high sediment levels in water, such as pools and condominiums. Manufactured with a polyester filter media, it is efficient in reducing suspended dirt particles, such as sand, mud and silt, without compromising flow rate.
Its pleated design increases the contact area with water — that is why high flow rate does not represent a loss of efficiency, but rather more filter surface. Internally, a polypropylene core guarantees the structure of the element even in higher installations. Water is forced to pass through the micropores of the polyester, and dirt particles are retained in the filaments, forcing water to find another path to be released — which ensures efficient filtration across the entire refill.

In the box
- 1 BIG Pleated Refill 10"
- Close the main water valve.
- Unscrew the filter housing. If necessary, use the wrench supplied with the product.
- Wearing a glove, remove the refill full of impurities and discard it. Properly separate your waste; the saturated refill is contaminated waste.
- Routinely clean the housing, the o-ring and the filter cap. Use only water and biodegradable soap. Avoid abrasive materials.
- With the components clean, check the condition of each part.
- Fit the new filter element into the housing.
- Open the main valve and in case of leaks check the connections and the tightness of the housing and the inlet and outlet connections.
