About this product
The Facile C8 Refill is the refill from the Facile® line indicated for the reduction of metals such as iron and manganese present in water. Developed with MEP® technology, it is composed exclusively of specific minerals for this reduction.
Removal occurs by filtration — Melt Blown elements retain suspended Fe3 and Mn3 — and by adsorption, in which the minerals adsorb Fe+2 and Mn+2 ions. The presence of chlorine in the water is important to oxidize the adsorbed manganese and regenerate the adsorption sites; without chlorine, service life and efficiency may be compromised.

- 1 Facile C8 Refill
- Replacement in MultiFacile or Cap Facile Purifier:
- 1st There is no need to close the main shut-off valve, as the Cap Facile has an automatic water blocking valve. Use a cloth and a container to collect water between the Cap Facile outlet and the tap. Remove the Facile Refill by turning 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
- Replacement in Facile Purifier:
- 1st Close the product water shut-off valve and remove the Facile Refill by turning 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
- For both cases:
- 2nd Make sure the three sealing rings are in the housing. Insert the Facile Refill and turn 1/4 turn clockwise.
- 3rd Check that the connections are free from leaks. Open the main shut-off valve and discard the first 15 liters until the water becomes clear.
