About this product
The Facile C9 Refill is the refill from the Facile® line indicated for water hardness reduction. Developed with SOFT® technology, it is composed exclusively of cationic resin.
Hardness reduction occurs through cationic exchange (softening): calcium and magnesium ions, responsible for hardness, are captured by the resin, which releases ions such as hydrogen and sodium. Softened water is indicated for the preparation of coffees and other beverages, reducing unwanted bitter taste, and extends the service life of equipment by preventing calcification of components, electrical systems and piping.

In the box
- 1 Facile C9 Refill
- Replacement in MultiFacile or Cap Facile Purifier:
- 1st No need to close the main water valve, as the Cap Facile has an automatic water blocking valve. Use a cloth and a container to collect water between the Cap Facile outlet and the tap. Remove the Facile Refill by turning 1/4 turn to the left.
- Replacement in Facile Purifier:
- 1st Close the product water valve and remove the Facile Refill by turning 1/4 turn to the left.
- For both cases:
- 2nd Make sure the three sealing rings are in the housing. Insert the Facile Refill and turn 1/4 turn to the right.
- 3rd Check that connections are free from leaks. Open the main water valve and discard the first 15 liters until the water runs clear.
