About this product
The Alkaline Refill is the filter element of the Ultramax Purifier, highly resistant, compact and efficient in reducing chlorine, unpleasant taste and odor from water.
Its filtration occurs in five stages: the 1st layer, made of polypropylene, retains dirt such as clay, sand, silt and rust; the 2nd layer, with a mineral mix, enriches water with calcium and potassium; the 3rd layer, made of polypropylene, isolates the carbon and retains particles; the 4th layer, made of activated carbon with silver, reduces tastes and odors; and the 5th layer performs final filtration. The activated carbon is natural and non-toxic.

In the box
- 1 Ultramax Alkaline Refill
- Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
- Close the water inlet valve on the external side of the unit.
- Open the natural and chilled water dispensers to relieve internal pressure.
- Remove the top cap of the unit.
- Remove the safety locks from the quick coupling (blue lock) and disconnect the refills from the hoses.
- Connect the UF Membrane refill in the 1st stage and the Alkaline refill in the 2nd stage, paying attention to inlet and outlet direction.
- Before connecting the outlet of the last refill to the unit's inlet, discard 15 liters of water (or until the water runs clear) to eliminate charcoal dust.
- Connect the outlet of the Alkaline refill to the unit's inlet hose, reposition the locks on the quick couplings and the purifier will be ready for use.
