About this product
The BIG 10" Filter is the system recommended for installations requiring high flow rate of filtered water, such as swimming pools and condominiums. It can be installed at any point after the water meter and before the water tank, preventing constant maintenance caused by the accumulation of dirt such as sand, mud and other suspended sediments.
With cleaner water circulating, the piping is protected against corrosion caused by dirt deposits, and prevents clogging in floats, showers, valves and other equipment. The product comes with a metal support to sustain the weight of the apparatus in operation and a dedicated wrench, which facilitates opening and closing of the bowl.
Its pleated polyester filter element is washable, maintaining high efficiency until the end of its service life, and can be easily replaced when necessary.

Usage recommendation: after installation, it is recommended to clean the water tank and perform a complete check of the sealing.
Compatible refill: Pleated Refill 10" (cod. 919-0002), in polyester, with filtration grade of 50 microns and particle retention Class F.
Complies with Portaria PRC MS nº 5/2017 from the Ministry of Health and standard NBR 16098:2012.

- 1st Close the main water shutoff valve. You can install the filter before the water tank or at the inlet manifold (after the water meter).
- 2nd Measure the installation location to fix the filter support.
- 3rd Cut the water tank inlet pipe or inlet manifold pipe at 20 cm.
- 4th Disconnect the filter bowl. Fit and turn the filter cap onto the adapters until it is tight. Observe the inlet and outlet markings on the cap. Use thread seal tape on the piping.
- 5th Screw the filter cap into the support fixed on the wall.
- 6th Fit the filter bowl, checking that the o'ring is properly seated in the bowl.
- 7th Open the main shutoff valve and in case of leaks check the inlet and outlet connections and between the bowl and cap.
- 8th Routinely clean the bowl, o'ring and filter cap. Use only water and biodegradable soap. Avoid abrasive materials.
Maintenance
How to replace the refill

Step 01
Close the main water shutoff valve.

Step 02
Unscrew the filter bowl. If necessary, use the wrench that comes with the product.

Step 03
With a glove, remove the refill full of impurities and discard it. Properly separate waste; the saturated refill is a contaminated residue.

Step 04
Routinely clean the bowl, o'ring and filter cap. Use only water and biodegradable soap. Avoid abrasive materials.

Step 05
With the components clean, check the condition of each part.

Step 06
Fit the new filter element in the bowl.

Step 07
Open the main shutoff valve and in case of leaks check the connections and the tightness of the bowl and the inlet and outlet connections.
